I create this expansion set to mix Tolkien’s LOTR heroic-fantasy world and the Catan one ; and also to create a new card type : the Armies.

Armies are region-developpement (so they are placed below or above a region) that have specific skill. They can be discarded during the game to win Battles and so to enjoy their victory.

In the tournament game, each Army is unique, as the Knights. But Armies are neither Units nor Knights.

The Battles are Events that give (with conditions) some privilege (often victory points).

Two cards, impossible to classify, have been added to the expansion set. One is a region that will be add to the region-deck (like the extra Mountain Stream). The other is a development card (added to the development decks) that will take the place of a Mountain during the game.

In fact, the game ends only when a Battle-event is winned by a player. The winner is then the player with 15 victory points as least.
